But the wonderful thing is that when you recognise you are powerless, that is the moment you start on a different path that can lead to success. The old approaches haven’t and won’t work. This is not the time to ignore reality or to see yourself as a martyr. You need to get giving and receiving balanced. There is nothing wrong in being paid for what you do – either in kind OR in money. You also need to remember you can only help others as much as they are prepared to help themselves.
